I expect this deck will get incredibly powerful with the coming out of crown. Its still good now tho just a little slow

Overload will send them to the gy, but they arnt the biggest things in the deck, getting earth and moon out and lots of treants is the point. Discard decks generally arnt quick enough to get rid of earth and moon, especially if you go first. faenis is mainly a stall technique that keeps you alive for basically the whole game if you keep plenty of treants out. The one problem with this deck is getting hit by an aoe. Hopefully by the time the aoe pings you have cards that buff you tokens to keep them through the hit. If not, you get more powerful as the game goes on, so start over.

This is not an unbeatable but, but from what ive seen its powerful in many circumstances, and will be more powerful with the dryads in crown

Well something like fel blaze will only hurt if someone gets it quick..but poison the well pretty much says GG to tokens. I like the deck a lot though but I just think control is going to come back to strong.

I know something that might hurt but not sure how big it will be, is a monstrous frost bolt volley.

The reason im much more confident with this deck against poison the well, is that i know no one at my locals plays rogue. If thats your local players style, this is probably not the deck for you. Poison the well also is a 2 cost spell. at the first turn the mostt you can have out is 2 ( bottle life) so you wont lose much. later in game itll prolly kick ur butt, but by then u have most of your more powerful abilities usable so you get them back much quicker.

and btw monstrous frostbolt volley would be worse than poison the well against this deck XD seeing as how it hits your hero aswell.

But you can overcome it for the same reason as above

They really do need to make a treant location ( or at least a global nature one) say pay 1-exhaust, put a treant into play, when a treant enters play deal 1 nature dmg to target hero or ally. =D that would be plain awesome

Seeing as how you are going strictly off of your local game store then sure this deck can do damage. But since you put tournament quality I am pointing out what others will be doing to counter it. I just feel that control is going to be HUGE after Crown of the Heavens. Rush will still have its place( and probably never lose it). The damage one can do with an AoE wipe after stalling is too much to overcome in my opinion. What happens to someone who gets two frost novas out on you and glyphtrace rituals all allies.

Like I said, Im not trying to be negative, im being the devils advocate here lol.

Thank you, i apreciate the feedback alot it helps me. Frost nova only does 1 dmg, and by the fourth turn you should have some sort of token buff out. Im not sure about control being huge. Cryptozoic said in the forums that rush was real powerful now because of the scourgewar block. I think they are going to try to balance things out, but i dont think it would be good if they went back and forth over and over again. I think crown will be more about balance imo.

By the way guys, im sorry i messed up, taking out earth and moon because treants are 1/1 melee allies. I apologize again for my mistake.

and btw glyphtrace ritual ruins any decks board, not just mine XD. It would be less effective against my deck though because I can get my board back much quicker.

Its not so much frost nova does only one damage..its the fact that it keeps you from attacking for the turn. If they are playing Horde Mage, which is just as good as monster mage IMO, the can just drop the orc ally that destroys all allies with damage on them.

I love rush but I love control even more. Rush will always have a spot in any TCG and will always be strong. Playing a control deck is learning how to manage a rush deck and keep it from getting too big. I have beaten Murlock Hunter/Warrior rush, Nature druid rush and Grand Crusader so far with my monster mage just off of counter spells and creature removal. The treant deck is one I havent seen just because people dont play it at my store.

I prefer to play control too, as you can see by my water elemental deck. I tend not to play rush decks because they dont take much skill to play imo. control,( and especially stall decks, which are my favorite,) are challenging to play right now in this set. But rush is so powerful now that i made a rush deck just in case i need it XD

Tokens are aggressive by nature because of how easy they are to kill. You seem to be trying to, in this build, stall out your opponent before killing with boundless wild/surge of power/fungal growth, but that will end in a loss at least 70% of the time. That is, unless you play with people who have no will for competition and make decks out of nothing.
I think this deck could be tweaked a little bit and be a difficult deck to beat, but it would require a ridiculous amount of money for a person who doesn't play at tournaments.

Here is a version I just thought up. It could use some tweaking, but the core concept is there.

I built this and it just seems to fall short every time. my control mage with ice barrier just rapes it. so its not really viable IMO

I have a similar deck like this, I find having Leggings of the Vanquished Usurper in mine really kills the opposing hero, its also useful for getting Alexstrasza out.
